The Visionary’s Youth Empowerment & Leadership Foundation (VYELF) is a non-profit, youth development organisation which seeks the better the quality of life for people living in both urban and disadvantaged communities by empowering young people from such communities to transform their lives and those of others, through Education, Moral values as well as leadership. We are an organisation that believes that it is vital to understand that the youth are a long term solution to the problems we face today.

VYELF founds and co – ordinates projects that are focused at developing youth as well as uplift the people from our communities both rural and urban. the organisation is currently totally dependent on public donations so should you wish to lend a helping hand, please contact us.

We see VYELF being the driving force behind of local and national youth development through constantly implementing innovative ways of promoting and insuring sustainable development. We also see our projects touching and changing lives, young and old, by becoming the voice of action on social issues across South Africa, the African continent as well as the world at large.

Our aim

The organisation aims to provide sustainable empowerment of the youth as well as the rural community of Newcastle as a whole. Empowering and developing the youth by tapping into their potential and unlocking it to its fullest. Enriching and equipping the youth with the tools they need to envision for themselves and fellow men a brighter and better tomorrow. Exposing young people to constructive and fruitful ways of spending their time.Teenage pregnancies, drug & alcohol abuse, HIV/Aids as well as educational challenges are all problems that have become a part of our everyday lives. Young people are the most affected by these negative influences which poses a permanent and devastating tread in their future, therefore posing a threat to the future of the Nation. Vyelf seeks to reverse the effect of such social challenges amongst the youth by developing and implementing projects that develop youth social, educationally as well as economically, programs promote positive youth involvement and social consciousness.
